JKS New Product Announcement: JSPEC 3.5" J-Konnect Suspension Systems Now Available

Coldwater, MI — JKS Manufacturing continues to expand into the JK suspension market with the next level in on-and-off-road performance with new JSPEC? JKonnect 3.5" suspension systems for the 2007-2016 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited JK. These new systems are for the JK owner who wants it all: the culmination of our expertise in creating suspensions for the JK that accentuate the JK Wrangler?s strengths while addressing its weaknesses. By combining some of our best known off road ready upgrades with our popular daily driver friendly modifications, the JKonnect will transform your JK into the commuter that you aren't afraid to hit the trails with! Based off the widely popular 3.5" Jspec system, this new JKonnect system raises the bar with control arms and track bar bracing.

At the heart of any true Jeep® suspension system are properly designed coil springs. Not everyone uses their Jeep® for the same purposes, therefore you need a system that adapts to different terrains both on and offroad. By developing specially tuned sets of dual rate coils springs, JSPEC? coils provide the best performance in any driving situation. Whether loaded down with gear for a weeklong expedition, running light for some rock-crawling fun or loaded with a few friends for a trip to the beach, JSPEC? coils will provide the ride you want and the performance you need. From there, this systems adds the robust and nearly indestructible J-Link front and rear lower control arms to correct axle positioning. These arms are built from 2" OD x .250 wall DOM steel tubing and use premium Clevite brand rubber bushings to absorb the road vibrations for smooth, quiet operation. To recenter the front axle under the Jeep and provide extra strength, JKS supplies a heavy duty adjustable front track bar formed from 1.5" x .375 wall DOM tubing with durometer specific bushings. This combined with the weld-in track bar support gusset reinforces the front end for any abuse you may put it through. This kit also eliminates the drivability and bump steer issues common to lifted Jeep JK by improving the drag link angle with the drag link flip kit. This includes a replacement drag link along with a step bit to drill out the factory steering knuckles and a track bar relocation bracket. Additional components include the tried and true JKS quicker disconnects giving you the freedom to quickly improve suspension articulation for trail performance while maintaining quiet on-road comfort with solid construction and poly-flex ball bushings capable of high-misalignment. With all the extra flex JKS supplies front and rear brake line relocation brackets as well CNC machined front aluminum bump stop extensions to ensure your Jeep continues to perform wherever you take it. Rounding out the front of this kit are a pair of precision tuned FOX 2.0 gas shocks for improved ride quality and performance across any terrain.

In the rear, the 3.5" JKonnect system carries over the dual rate coil springs for better ride quality, J-Link lower control arms for improved strength and smooth operation, as well as bump stop extensions and brake line brackets to accommodate the additional ride height. The rear track bar mount on the axle is treated to a reinforcement brace and substantial rear track bar bracket to correct rear axle positioning. Finishing out the rear include a matching pair of FOX 2.0 gas shocks.

For customers already outfitted with the Jspec 3.5" suspension system, JKS also offers an advanced link upgrade kit to improve your Jeep’s performance. This upgrade kit includes the heavy duty J-Link lower control arms, drag link flip kit with track bar relocation bracket, front bump stop extensions and rear track bar mount reinforcement brace.

While these new 3.5" JKonnect systems come complete right out of the box, there are always additional optional accessories available. Some of these include the #8150 exhaust extensions for 2012 and newer vehicles, #PWT3575 J-Cal programmer to recalibrate speedometer and other electronics on the you JKS, replacement upper control arms, and upgraded FOX 2.0 remote reservoir shocks for improved dampening capabilities.
