Bronco Upgrades Available | JKS New Product Announcement
JKS is excited to announce the first of many new products for the 2021 Ford Bronco with a pair of upgrades. The first, the max tire clearance kit is designed to optimize clearance in the wheel well to squeeze the largest tire possible at any lift height (even stock). The second launch addresses factory steering tie rod ends that have proven to be problematic off-road. The steering sleeve kit reinforces the weak point so you can overcome steering woes before they begin. Both products are on the shelf and ready to ship immediately.
JKS8300 - Max Tire Clearance Kit
As new Broncos are beginning to hit the trail, there is a need in the market to improve capability and upgrade other aspects of Ford's design. One upgrade that is apparent is the need to optimize the front wheel opening for maximum clearance. Aftermarket tire fitment is limited by the front body mount brackets and intrusion beams. Regardless of lift height (stock or lifted) this will affect clearance and limit tire size. The solution, is the Max Tire Clearance Kit from JKS Mfg. By replacing the front body mount with a high clearance body mount and adjusting the profile of the inner fender liner with new brackets, larger tires can be installed with increased clearance through full wheel travel.
Allows for larger tire fitment at all ride heights - Max tire size is dependent on lift height.
Full clearance through wheel travel at 2-4" of lift with 37x12.50 tires (17x9 to 20x9 with 4.5-5.5" backspacing recommended).
High clearance body mount provides a clean look with mid-width and stubby bumpers.
As capable as these new Broncos are out on the trail, the factory steering tie rod ends have proven to be a weak point when running larger tires, breaking at the threaded rod. JKS has the solution with a new sleeve kit designed specifically for the Bronco's factory tie rod ends. This heavy-duty sleeve kit reinforces your steering by replacing the OE jam nut with a robust sleeve that supports the tie rod from bending or breaking. Designed to be used on a variety of lift heights, this sleeve kit still allows full tow adjustment to dial in front end alignment. Installation is quick and easy to give you confidence and peace of mind to push your Bronco to the limit out on the trail.
Made from cold-rolled 1215 steel, 1" OD.
Prevents tie rods from bending when subject to off-road situations.
Increase steering link diameter through the weakest section of the tie rod.
Works for all lift heights when used with the OE inner tie rod end.
JKS Manufacturing applies warning labels either on our product(s), the packaging containing our product(s) regarding CA Prop 65. This warning is part of our effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as “Proposition 65”). The warning does not mean that our products will necessarily cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. While we believe our products are not harmful when used as designed, and we rely on our suppliers to help with this effort, we also provide these warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
What is California Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 is a far reaching law and applies to any company that operates in California, sells products in California, or manufactures products that may be sold in or brought into California. Proposition 65 requires warnings to accompany any product that contains or may contain any of the chemicals appearing on the list administered by California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The current list can be found here: https://oehha.ca.gov/proposition-65/proposition-65-list
What This Means To You
While the proposition was created to protect drinking water sources from chemical contamination, the scope of the law has expanded over the years. It now includes over 900 chemicals and also pertains to (but is not limited to) exposure through touch, inhalation, ingestion, or skin contact.
The Prop 65 warning can now be found on products that may contain a small amount of over 900 chemicals or ingredients that the OEHHA lists as a carcinogen or reproductive toxicant. This includes compounds that are used in everyday life like vinyl, coatings, plastics, and much more.
Why has JKS Manufacturing decided to provide a warning?
Proposition 65 imposes strict penalties for noncompliance. While California establishes “safe harbor numbers” for listed chemicals, the costs of individually testing products that JKS Manufacturing sells and distributes is prohibitive (particularly when the list of chemicals is so expansive and subject to change on an annual basis).
As a result of the steep penalties and because there is no penalty for providing an unnecessary warning, JKS Manufacturing (like some other companies doing business in California) decided to provide the Proposition 65 notice out of an abundance of caution.

Choose your Coils?
PICKING THE RIGHT COIL SPRINGS
JKS J-Rated Suspension Systems feature custom wound, progressive rate coil springs. That means the spring rate increases as the spring is compressed. You and your Jeep enjoy a plush ride during low load driving scenarios such as highway cruising with increased performance as each spring compresses. If you carry a significant amount of extra gear in your Jeep, some J-Rated suspension systems are available with optional high-rate coil springs to support the additional weight.
